Genting International Music Festival (GIMF) Genting 2026 provided an enriching international music experience for young Indonesian pianists through a series of educational and performance activities held in Malaysia from 27–30 May 2026. The program began with practice sessions and private masterclasses at J Music Studio, Selangor, where participants had the opportunity to rehearse using professional facilities equipped with upright and grand pianos. Under the guidance of Ms. Tammy Lim from Malaysia, students received personalized instruction that helped refine their technical skills, musical interpretation, and overall performance readiness before entering the competition stage.

The competition took place at Grand Ion Delemen Hotel, Genting, bringing together approximately 16 piano participants from Indonesia to perform before an international panel of adjudicators. Throughout the festival, participants demonstrated commitment, discipline, and artistic growth while gaining valuable experience on an international platform. The event concluded with an award ceremony that recognized both achievements and personal development, highlighting the importance of learning and perseverance throughout the festival journey. Supported by FIMO as the international event organizer, GIMF Genting 2026 served as a valuable stepping stone for young musicians seeking broader international exposure and continued artistic advancement.
