Shanghai International Performance Arts Festival (SIPAF) Shanghai 2026 provided an inspiring international music experience for young musicians from Indonesia through a series of educational and performance activities held in Shanghai, China, on 3–6 April 2026. The program began with practice sessions and private masterclasses, where participants had the opportunity to rehearse in professional facilities equipped with upright and grand pianos while receiving personalized guidance from international mentors. These activities allowed students to strengthen their technical skills, enhance their musical interpretation, and build greater confidence before stepping onto the international stage.
The festival continued with the competition held at the prestigious Shangyin Opera House Shanghai and Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Hall – Chamber Hall, where approximately 33 piano participants from Indonesia showcased their dedication, discipline, and artistic growth before an international panel of adjudicators. The experience concluded with an award ceremony that celebrated not only achievements and results but also the learning journey of every participant. Supported by FIMO as the international event organizer, SIPAF Shanghai 2026 served as more than just a competition; it became a valuable platform for artistic development, cultural exchange, and international exposure, helping young musicians prepare for future opportunities in the global performing arts community.
