10th Asia Aegean International Music Competition (AAIMC) 2026: A Meaningful International Experience for Young Indonesian Musicians

The 10th Asia Aegean International Music Competition (AAIMC) Taiwan 2026 brought together young musicians for a meaningful international music experience. Held in Taipei, Taiwan, on 8–9 August 2026, the event featured dedicated preparation, competition performances, and award announcements for participants across Piano and Vocal categories.

Around 10 Indonesian Piano participants and 1 Indonesian Vocal participant took part in the competition. Their participation formed part of an international music experience that brought together preparation, learning, performance, and recognition.

A Platform for Musical Learning and Performance

The 10th Asia Aegean International Music Competition featured several activities designed to support participants before and during the competition. The program began with a private Masterclass and dedicated practice sessions before participants took the stage.

Through these activities, participants had time to receive personalized guidance, rehearse their repertoire, and prepare for their performances at the National Taipei University of Education.

Masterclass – Learning Through Personalized Guidance

7 August 2026 | The Musician, Taiwan

The program began with a private one-on-one Masterclass, giving participants the opportunity to learn directly from a master teacher according to their instrument. The session provided focused learning before the competition.

For the Piano category, the Masterclass was conducted by Ms. Sandra. Participants received personalized guidance as part of their preparation for the upcoming competition performances.

Practice Session – Preparing for the Competition

7 August 2026 | The Musician, Taiwan

Participants were also provided with dedicated practice rooms to prepare for their performances. Each participant received a 30-minute practice session and could practice together with their parents or teachers.

Practice facilities were available for both Piano and Vocal participants, giving them dedicated time to rehearse before the competition days.

Competition – Young Indonesian Musicians Take the Stage

8–9 August 2026 | National Taipei University of Education, Taipei, Taiwan

The competition was held over two days at the National Taipei University of Education in Taipei. Around 10 Indonesian Piano participants and 1 Indonesian Vocal participant took part in the competition.

The competition gave Young Indonesian Musicians an opportunity to present their performances in Taipei and experience an international music competition environment alongside other participants.

Award Ceremony – Recognizing Participants’ Achievements

8–9 August 2026 | National Taipei University of Education, Taipei, Taiwan

The competition results for each category were announced on the same day as its respective competition. Participants received their results following the completion of their performances.

The award announcement marked the closing of each competition day and provided a moment to recognize the achievements of participants throughout the 10th Asia Aegean International Music Competition.
