From July 4 to 6, 2025, Bali hosted the International Music & Performing Arts Festival (IMPAF) 2025, an exciting international music competition that brought together hundreds of young musicians from Indonesia and beyond. The festival featured a diverse program of masterclasses, practice sessions, workshops, competitions, and gala concerts across three packed days.
Masterclass, Practice & Workshop
Date: 4th July
The first day of IMPAF Bali 2025 opened with private masterclasses held at two venues: DeBeat Sunset Road Music Store and TOM’S MUSIC YAMAHA MUSIC SQUARE. Participants had one-on-one sessions with renowned teachers, including:
- Mr. Ming Jui Tsai (Piano, Taiwan)
- Mr. Alberto Firrincieli (Piano, Italy)
- Mr. Andrew Filmer (Violin, Malaysia)
- Ms. Debbie Klongtruadroke (Vocal, Italy)
Simultaneously, practice rooms were made available for piano, violin, and vocal participants to rehearse for 30 minutes each with their teacher or parent.

A workshop was also held at DeBeat Sunset Road Music Store, led by Mr. U-jin Lim from Malaysia. The topic, “Drum Circle Activity,” engaged participants in collaborative rhythm exercises and group creativity.
Competition Days at The Stones Legian Hotel
Date: 5-6th July 2025
The main international music competition took place over two full days at The Stones Hotel, Legian, Bali. With over 200 piano, 90 vocal, and 10 violin participants from Indonesia, the venue was alive with music from morning to evening. The competition was divided into age categories and instrument types, with judges evaluating performances based on technical skill, musicality, and expression.

Immediate Awarding and Recognition
Awards were presented immediately following the final performance in each category, keeping the excitement and energy high throughout the day. Winners received trophies and certificates, acknowledging their dedication and talent on an international stage.
Gala Concert – Showcasing the Best
Date: 6th July
The event concluded with two sessions of the Gala Concert, held at 15:30 and 19:00. Each session lasted around two hours and featured performances from selected 1st Prize Winners and distinguished jury members of IMPAF 2025. The Gala Concert celebrated excellence and provided an unforgettable close to this dynamic international music competition.
