Since its establishment, the Zhongsin International Music Competition (ZIMC) has been recognized as one of Asia’s most respected platforms for young musicians. The 20th Zhongsin International Music Competition 2025 continued this tradition, welcoming instrumentalists from around the world to Bangkok, Thailand.
This year’s event focused on the “Other Instruments” category, highlighting a wide variety of musical disciplines beyond the commonly featured piano and strings. Through the combined efforts of FIMO, teachers, and partner institutions, participants were given not just a chance to compete, but also to develop deeper musical understanding and international experience.

The event began with a Masterclass session held on 7 November 2025 at Yamaha, Fortune Town Mall. This exclusive one-on-one learning session allowed participants to receive personalized coaching from distinguished instructors.
The masterclass was led by Ms. Debbie Klongtruadroke, a respected teacher known for her dedication to musical education and her ability to bring out the best in young performers. Each student received tailored feedback, focusing on refining technique, musical interpretation, and stage presentation — skills that would later be invaluable for their competition performances.
Through this masterclass, participants gained not only technical insights but also valuable performance confidence. For many, it was their first experience learning directly from an international mentor in such an intimate, focused setting.
Competition
November 8, 2025 | Araya Hall, Denla British School
The highlight of this event was the Competition Day, held on 8 November 2025 at Araya Hall, Denla British School. The hall buzzed with excitement as participants from different countries showcased their musical abilities before an esteemed panel of judges.
From Indonesia, there were 19 vocal participants and 1 violin participant, each representing the country with pride and talent. The performances demonstrated not only technical mastery but also deep emotional expression, reflecting the participants’ hard work and commitment.
Our role as the event organizer was particularly instrumental in ensuring smooth coordination and providing support to the Indonesian delegation. From logistics to mentorship, FIMO remained committed to its mission of empowering young musicians to compete internationally with confidence and excellence.
Award Ceremony

The event concluded with the Award Ceremony, also held at Araya Hall immediately after the competition sessions. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation as students, parents, and teachers gathered to celebrate the results.
Winners and participants alike were recognized for their achievements and efforts. The ceremony symbolized more than just competition results — it was a celebration of growth, cultural exchange, and shared passion for music.
