International Music and Performing Arts Festival (IMPAF) Bali 2026 offered an inspiring opportunity for Young Indonesian Musicians to learn, perform, and grow through an immersive international music program. Held in Bali, Indonesia, the program combined musical excellence, education, and valuable performance experiences for every participant.
A Platform for Musical Growth and International Exposure
International Music and Performing Arts Festival (IMPAF) Bali 2026 was designed to nurture artistic excellence while encouraging participants to develop their confidence, creativity, and performance skills. Through music camps, orchestra training, competitions, and concerts, young musicians experienced meaningful opportunities to learn and perform on an international stage.
Music Camp – Learning from International Master Teachers
2–3 July 2026 | Debeat Music Sunset Road, Bali
The Music Camp provided participants with an intensive learning experience through private masterclasses, group masterclasses, workshops, and practice sessions. The program was designed to strengthen both technical abilities and artistic expression.
Participants were guided by distinguished international master teachers from various musical disciplines. Their expertise provided valuable insights that supported every participant’s musical development.
For the Piano category, participants learned from Prof. Minjung Kim, Mr. Donald Law, Mr. Alberto Firrincieli, Mr. Kun Ming Soon, Mr. U-Jin Lim, and Ms. Tammy Lim. The Vocal category was led by Ms. Debbie Klongtruadroke, and the Drum category was led by Dr. Tom Pierard.
Orchestra Camp – Building Musical Collaboration
2–4 July 2026 | TOM’S Yamaha Music, Bali
The Orchestra Camp focused on developing ensemble performance skills while fostering teamwork and musical collaboration among participants. Throughout the program, participants prepared for their concert performances under professional guidance.
Led by Dr. Andrew Filmer, the orchestra sessions provided Young Indonesian Musicians with valuable experiences in performing as part of an ensemble while strengthening their stage presence and musical interpretation.
Competition – Young Indonesian Musicians Shine on the International Stage
4 July 2026 | The Stones Legian Hotel, Bali
The competition welcomed approximately 316 participants from several countries and across four categories, including Piano (200 participants), Vocal (92 participants), Violin (5 participants), and Drum (19 participants). Performing in an International Music Competition allowed participants to showcase their musical abilities while gaining valuable stage experience.
To support the smooth execution of the event, the competition was conducted over approximately ten hours. Piano performances were held separately from the Vocal, Violin, and Drum categories.
For many Young Indonesian Musicians, participating in IMPAF Bali 2026 became a meaningful milestone in their artistic journey and opened new opportunities for future musical growth.
Award Ceremony and Gala Concert – Celebrating Musical Excellence
4 July 2026 | The Stones Legian Hotel, Bali
Following the competition, award announcements were presented directly after all participants had completed their performances within each category. The Award Ceremony became a memorable moment to celebrate dedication, perseverance, and achievement.
The celebration continued through a special Gala Concert session featuring performances by the international jury members, Music Camp participants, selected First Prize Winners, and concluded with an Orchestra Concert as the grand finale.
