The Piania Conservatory of Music Competition (PCM) Korea 2025 is one of the most anticipated international music events, celebrating passion, discipline, and excellence among young musicians. Organized annually, PCM Korea has become a global platform where talented pianists showcase their artistry and dedication in front of distinguished judges and audiences from around the world.
This year, FIMO is proud to represent and support talented young musicians from Indonesia as they take part in this prestigious competition. For these aspiring artists, PCM Korea 2025 is not just a competition; it is an invaluable experience of cultural exchange, professional growth, and artistic inspiration.
The event series took place on October 25, 2025, featuring several key activities designed to help participants perform their best while learning from world-class mentors.
Practice Session
October 24, 2025 | Piania Art Hall.
Held at Piania Art Hall, the piano practice session offered each participant a dedicated 30-minute slot to rehearse with their teacher or parent. FIMO ensured that all Indonesian participants had access to well-prepared practice rooms equipped with both upright and grand pianos, providing the ideal setting to warm up and fine-tune their performances before the main event.
This session was not only about preparing technically but also mentally. It allowed young pianists to familiarize themselves with the venue and instruments, ensuring confidence and readiness for the upcoming competition day.
Masterclass Session
October 24, 2025 | Piania Art Hall.

One of the highlights of PCM Korea 2025 was the exclusive masterclass session led by Prof. Min Jung Kim, a highly respected mentor and pianist known for her artistry and pedagogical expertise. The masterclass was conducted in a one-on-one format, allowing each young musician to receive personalized feedback tailored to their instrument and performance style.
FIMO considers this opportunity a significant educational milestone for the participants. Learning directly from a world-class mentor like Prof. Min Jung Kim not only refines technical skills but also broadens musical perspective and interpretation—a true master-apprentice experience that participants will cherish throughout their musical journey.

The main event, the PCM Korea 2025 Competition, took place at SCC Hall in Seocho District, where young pianists from various countries competed across multiple categories. Indonesia proudly sent around 10 talented participants, each representing the spirit of dedication, discipline, and musical passion nurtured by FIMO.
The atmosphere during the competition was filled with excitement, determination, and admiration. Every note played resonated not only with skill but also with heart, reflecting months—even years—of preparation. For FIMO, witnessing Indonesian students perform with confidence on an international stage is a moment of immense pride and joy.
Award Ceremony

Immediately following the performances, the Award Ceremony was held at the said venue. Participants and guests gathered to celebrate the achievements of all competitors. Awards were presented right after each group’s performance, adding a sense of excitement and gratification to the event.
